The ETF drama has been an ongoing indifference in the market for the majority of 2023. On Wednesday it was reported that the filing had been sent for an Ark 21Shares Ethereum.

This would be the first of its kind in the US however many previous filings have been for futures-ETFs whereas the offering by Ark Invest & 21Shares would be a spot-ETF with direct exposure.

Leading decentralised wallet MetaMask announced now that users can convert their crypto into fiat currencies directly to their bank or PayPal.

The feature is accessible to users in the US, UK & several parts of Europe with support for ETH at launch. Over time, there are intentions to expand to native gas tokens on other layer 2 networks.

FTX Calamity Falls 👮‍♂️

As the story which never comes to an end is still in the air, ex-FTX executive Ryan Salame pleaded guilty to criminal charges.

Ryan Salame was a top FTX executive who was critical in FTXs fundraising operations. His guilty pleading could lead to a forfeit of over $1.5b as he was tied to criminal charges in relation to the exchange.

Salame has already had a 2021 Porsche automobile & two properties seized by the government with guidelines pointing towards 10 years in prison.

During his time at FTX, Salame was responsible for facilitating out over $24m to Republican political candidates.
